Pissouri Village is located halfway between Paphos and Limassol making it convenient to both cities. It is in the Limassol district and it is the third biggest administrative district in Limassol. It is about 3 km away from Cape Aspro. The population is about 1100, approximately half of whom are Cypriot and the other half are mainly British. There are two communities in Pissouri – Pissouri Village Area that has many homes, restaurants and shops and Pissouri Bay area that homes the beautiful 5 star Columbia Beach Resort. The beach at the Columbia Resort is a EU certified blue flag beach and has many water sports such as Kite surfing, canoes and pedal boats and scuba diving. The restaurants in the area are excellent and range from Contemporary Indian and Saffron, Chinese, local tavernas such as the Vine Leaf and O Vrakas to name a few.
Conveniently, there are also two banks in the village center, a couple of doctors, a dental surgeon and a pharmacy as well as other services and amenities.Nearby are four championship 18-hole golf courses – Elea Estates, Secret Valley, Aphrodite Hills or Minthis Hills to choose from.
Pissouri is a beautiful, mountainous village with stunning sea and rural views. Like many other areas of Cyprus grapes, potatoes, citrus fruit, olives, carob and almonds are produced.
There is a Pissouri Residents Association that also has a Clubhouse in the Village Center called the 1911 Clubhouse where you can meet with other residents and find a wealth of information to help you settle in or to meet with friends.
