Spectacular sea views from Armou village are everywhere. Located only six kilometres north of Paphos town, Armou offers a quiet, semi-rural environment yet not far from town life. A fifteen-minute drive to the beach, twenty minutes to Paphos International Airport. There are several kiosks and tavernas in the area and in the neighbouring villages of Marathounta and Konia. There is a traditional coffee shop. A bus runs several times daily into Paphos from Armou’s main square.
Armou Village sits at an average elevation of 257 metres above sea level which provides it with refreshing breezes all the year-round. A calming atmosphere and lush flora surround Armou yet it is only a seven-minute drive into the hustle and bustle of Paphos centre where all amenities are to be found i.e.supermarkets, cinemas, bowling, restaurants, gyms, clothing stores, medical clinics, hospital, dentists, schools, etc.
There are three very good golf courses within a thirty-minute drive of Armou and for those who are even more athletically inclined skiing is generally possible in January, February and March at Mount Olympus in the Troodos Mountains, which is less than two hours away, and various water sports are available at many of the beaches surrounding Paphos.
Two English language schools teaching pre-school to year 13 are within a 15-minute drive of the village.
