Droushia is a traditional Cypriot village which is known for it’s old stone houses, narrow winding streets and spectacular sea and mountain views. The village sits about 600 metres above sea level and about 10 km from Polis and 27 km from Paphos making it cooler in the summer. The Droushia Hotel provides top-notch accommodations to any visitors with its facilities including a great restaurant. The village also has coffee shops, Kiosk, a creamery in the centre of the village and an open-air theatre. The Church of Saint Epiphaios which was built in 1783 is also located in the village centre. The Monastery of Saint George Nikoxilitis which was built in the 10th century is a short distance outside the village. Kathikas is a nearby village that is very popular and has many great tavernas and other amenities.
